What is SDXC?
SDXC stands for Secure Digital eXtended Capacity. It is the only technology that has been deisgned for full HD recording and is the card of choice for filmmakers and photographers for the last few years.

SDXC cards are available in much higher capacities than standard SD/ SDHC and, because the latest smartphones & tablets are able to produce such high-quality images, devices that are SDXC-compatible* will reap the benefits of much faster read/ write speeds - this also helps with accessing and saving lots of smaller files, as is most common with smartphones.

*Please note - only SDXC devices can be used with SDXC cards. If you format the card for a non-SDXC device, the SDXC capabilities will be lost.
